Eric Doney, a graduate of Pen Argyl High School, began classical studies in first grade and gave his first public performance by the age of seven. He started playing jazz in junior high school and began performing professionally at the many Pocono Mountain jazz clubs with local legends such as Al Cohn, Bill Goodwin, and Steve Gilmore. He earned a bachelor of music degree from Susquehanna University.
Doney's first tour was with scat vocalist Jon Hendricks, with whom he recorded the Grammy-nominated album, Love. After moving to New York, Doney joined the David Johansen band on a two-year tour, opening for such groups as The Who, Blondie, Duran Duran, the Clash, and R.E.O. Speedwagon.
In 1983, Doney moved to Paris and toured with vocalist Kim Parker. Hired as a conductor for Connie Stevens, he relocated to Santa Monica, California, where he played with Les Brown's Band of Renown for 5 years.
During those years, Doney also was the pianist for all of Bob Hope's television shows and performed at the opening ceremony of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. For three years, he was musical director for Englebert Humperdink, touring more than 40 countries.
In 1993, Doney returned to the Poconos and formed PACIFIC STREET RECORDS. To date, he has produced 20 recordings for his label, recording such local jazz greats as Phil Woods, Bob Dorough, John Coates, Jr. and Scott Jarrett.
Vicki sang Reach Out and Touch before an estimated TV audience of 2.5 billion people during the Opening Ceremonies of the 1984 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles. She also sang on TV shows with Lucille Ball that featured Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jimmy Stewart and Milton Berle.
She has performed with The Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of John Williams, and sang the National Anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia 76er's, and the California Angels.
She has recorded and performed with The Nelson Riddle Orchestra and Les Browns Band of Renown, and has sung duets with Lou Rawls, Kenny Loggins and George Burns. Her latest CD "Natural Woman" features Phil Woods, Will Lee, Bob Dorough and Eric Doney with the One-Flight-Up Horns.
Her TV and movie credits include Allie McBeal, The New Charlies Angels and Why Do Fools Fall In Love.
Vicki now lives in Pen Argyl, Pa., and along with her husband, pianist/composer Eric Doney, runs Pacific St Records.

JOHN COATES
Born In Trenton, NJ, Coates graduated from Ewing High School. In 1962 he graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers Univ. where he holds a degree in romance languages. He began playing in local clubs when he was 14, played summers at the Deer Head Inn when he was 16, and recorded his first LP for Savoy Records while still a senior in high school. He performed on the Steve Allen, Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin TV shows in support of that LP. John now resides in New York City.
His first road gig was with Charlie Ventura with whom he also recorded two albums. He then returned to the Deer Head in the summer of 1962 and played there for almost 30 years.
He was employed by Shawnee Press as an arranger and editor from 1964 until 1976. He recorded eight albums for Omnisound Records under the direction of Yoshio Inomota. He also began playing across America, Europe, Japan and Canada promoting his albums.
In 1993 John recorded the first of 5 CD's for PACIFIC ST RECORDS, PIANO FORTE. He then recorded THE TRIO SESSION with Paul Langosch on bass and Mike Smith on drums. He then released THE OMNISOUND YEARS, featuring digitally remastered recordings from his Omnisound LP's. He then recorded DUETS with pianist Eric Doney. His latest CD is with 5-time Grammy award winner, Phil Woods, entitled GIANTS AT PLAY.
